I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do accept insurance with out of network coverage. The pricing of your physical therapy care is dependent on your specific insurance plan.
Cash pay rates and package bundles are available, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Insurance & Payment
The intricacies of insurance and paying for medical visits are confusing and frustrating. Through your course of care, you will be provided with the utmost transparency and punctuality when it comes to payments.
Cost:
Insurance is accepted on an out-of-network basis. This means that your cost per session will depend on your specific insurance plan and whether it has "out-of-network benefits" for Physical Therapy.
Some notes:
If you do not have out-of-network coverage, the cash rate for Physical Therapy is $175 for each 60-minute session.
Insurance Billing:

Why Out of Network?
Why Out-of-Network?
Out-of-network allows me to look at your individual case and do everything necessary to get you back. When you trust me with your care, my role becomes to guide, communicate, and advocate for you until your goals are met. Each hour-long session is focused, and your time between sessions is thoughtfully & carefully programmed.
The in-network business model puts hard working PTs at a disadvantage. The cheaper in-network price results in the PT seeing multiple patients per hour, more overall patients to manage, shorter visit times, and indirect care by using aides or techs. This unsustainable model of care forces the quality to be lower. It's the reality!
Out-of-network, although it can be more expensive per visit, is an investment in your health. Generally, these high-value visits result in you needing less visits overall, and result in higher satisfaction than when compared to in-network PT.

Direct Access - No Medical Script Needed
Since 2006, Physical Therapists in New York have been practicing with "Direct Access," which means that clients can be seen by a PT without going to a doctor first. So! Anytime something hurts, a PT can be there to help navigate your pain experience right away, rather than having to go through the hoops of the medical system.
With Direct Access, patients can be seen for up to 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first, before needing a script from a physician.
Since Physical Therapists work every day with every type of pain, they're incredible entry-point healthcare resources in diagnosing orthopedic issues and referring out to the most appropriate medical specialist when appropriate.

Telehealth
Telehealth is a powerful resource that can dramatically reduce accessibility and cost barriers to care. So much of what I do as a professional is guide people through their pain experience and provide them with the necessary tools and knowledge to recover and perform effectively.
"Hands-on" work can be incredibly helpful and appropriate. However truly effective PT treatment is rarely a simple hands-on "fix-it" type of solution. Recovering from injuries takes time, an understanding of the issue, and effective programming - and that can be accomplished through Telehealth PT.
The COVID pandemic taught us that Telehealth can be an effective medium for rehab, and the equipment needed is minimal! With just a phone or computer and an internet connection and we can quickly dive into:
